Today is Beja maximum highs of 30 degrees are forecast and if you are a fan of the sunshine then it is a good idea to get out there today before rain clouds return to most of Portugal.

Lisbon: Today highs of 27 degrees are expected with lows of 16 degrees. On Saturday it is to be dry with highs of 25 degrees but on Sunday the rain is to return with intermittent showers. Heavier rai is expected on Monday and Tuesday when temperatures are to peak at 23 degrees.

The north: Today (Friday), intermittent cloud cover is expected with prolonged sunny periods, especially in the late afternoon. Rain is forecast for the entire weekend although it will be feeling mild with highs of 23 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.

The centre: Clear skies and highs of 29 degrees are expected today in the centre with a slight drop in temperature on Saturday, down to 27 degrees with intermittent cloud cover. On Sunday rain is predicted to return and to continue through Monday.

The south: It will be feeling hot today in the south with highs of 29 degrees and clear skies. On Saturday hazy high cloud is expected with highs of 26 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. On Sunday cloud cover is to increase but it will remain dry, with rain then expected on Monday.
