According to the IPMA, the yellow warning for these three districts will be in effect between 9am and 6pm today.

Portugal has since Wednesday been affected by the Armand depression, with strong winds, heavy rain and rough seas.

In a statement, the IPMA states that this depression, which is associated with a mass of hot and humid air, with a high content of water vapour, affected mainland Portugal on Wednesday and Thursday and is expected to continue until today, although with less impact due to its displacement to the north-northeast.
