The island of Madeira will be under the orange warning between 15:00 and 18:00 today, then changing to yellow until 00:00 on Thursday due to the forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Still in the Madeira archipelago, Porto Santo will also be under a yellow warning due to rain between 12:00 today and 00:00 on Thursday.

The IPMA also issued a yellow warning because of rain for the districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga and Porto between 12:00 and 21:00 today and for Castelo Branco, Santarém, Portalegre, Lisbon, Évora and Setúbal until 9:00 am today.
