According to the document, the DGS is responsible for paying the reservation fees for these vaccines, for a period of 62 months, under the European contract, of which Portugal is one of the signatories, regarding the Joint Procurement Agreement GSK PIV initiative, developed by the European Commission for the purchase/booking of GSK flu vaccine doses.
According to the ordinance, the DGS is authorized to assume a total commitment of 1,896,000 euros, exempt from VAT, distributed between 2022 and 2027.
The costs resulting from the contract cannot exceed 304 thousand euros in 2022, 312 thousand this year, 320 thousand in 2024, 328 thousand euros in 2025, 316 thousand in 2016 and the same amount in the following year. The values indicated in the ordinance are exempt from VAT.
