In a statement, the consultant explained that the study was carried out with 20,000 people, distributed across different geographic areas, genders, ages, training levels and social class.
NOS Alive was the event with the highest global reputation (a rate of 72.0), followed by Rock in Rio, which did not take place this year, Super Bock Super Rock and Vodafone Paredes de Coura.
The company explained that the events are "selected after their spontaneous identification, passing through a second phase where induced recognition/familiarity and emotional attributes (relevance, trust, admiration and preference) and rational attributes (bands, support services, innovation and sustainability) related to them".
In the field of emotional reputation, Alive was also the most voted for event, but Rock in Rio ended up being recognised in the "rational index" study.
The list also includes festivals such as MEO Sudoeste, CA Vilar de Mouros, EDP Cool Jazz, Sumol Summer Fest and MEO Marés Vivas. Left out of the study was MEO Kalorama, whose second edition took place this year in Lisbon, and festivals dedicated to more specific styles of music, such as Sonic Blast, Boom Festival and Rolling Loud.
