The 12th edition of the festival once again combines established names from the Portuguese music scene with emerging and local artists, combining them with a concept of a popular party in a festival environment on the first day, according to the program sent today to Lusa agency.

Ricardo Pimenta told Lusa that the objective of all editions "has always been to give a stage to young national and emerging artists who have stood out in the musical panorama”.

Ricardo Pimenta reinforces that “the Côa Summer Fest is a notable event in the annual program of the region and in particular of Vila Nova Foz Côa, attracting visitors who, annually, plan their visit to enjoy everything the Festival has to offer, far away one of the most 'obvious' choices on the country's coast, where the offer is greater”.

Côa Summer Fest has the support of the municipality of Foz Côa and the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth (IPDJ), among other entities, once again guaranteeing free concerts and camping.

“There is also a festival bracelet that allows free access to municipal swimming pools, and also entitles you to various advantages at local shops and other visiting points in Foz Côa", said Ricardo Pimenta. "For those who do not wish to camp, there is also the possibility of staying overnight at the Youth Hostel, at reduced prices compared to usual, due to a partnership between the organization and Movijovem”.

On August 1st, the music begins with “há 'Côa' cada baile", with Miguel Bravo, Saúl, DJ Zé Avècalhos, and Ricardo Ascensão.

On the second day, the stage is reserved for Soraia Ramos, Diana Lima, Kisscam Party, and Rumble.

On the last day of Côa Summer Fest, festival-goers can hear and see Julinho KSD, Pikika, Gamiix, and Los Bandidos.

“The afternoons of the festival”, recalls the organization, “are centered around the municipal swimming pools where various activities take place, including the ‘Somersby Pool Party’, on August 3rd”, the last day of the festival.

Côa Summer Fest was created in 2011, by members of the Associação Juvenil Gustavo Filipe.

In addition to access to the municipal swimming pool and the venue where the concerts take place, there is a camping area, for those who want to opt for the full Côa Summer Fest offer.

Programming, times, and access methods, from different parts of the country, are available on the festival's website www.coasummerfest.pt.
