According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), on Monday, there will be a "drop in temperature, especially the maximum in the North and Centre regions".
Over the weekend in the capital temperatures are to reach highs of 22 degrees with intermittent cloud cover. In the north maximums of 23 degrees are expected on Sunday, while in the south clear skies are on the cards with highs of 21 degrees on Saturday and 22 degrees on Sunday.
On Monday, the coldest districts will be Guarda, with a maximum of 12ºC and a minimum of 6ºC, Bragança with a maximum of 16ºC and a minimum of 5ºC and Vila Real with a maximum of 16ºC and a minimum of 7ºC.
The hottest on Monday will be Beja with a maximum of 22ºC and a minimum of 11ºC, Setúbal with a maximum of 23ºC and a minimum of 12ºC and Faro with a maximum of 23ºC and a minimum of 13ºC. As for the islands, in Funchal, Madeira, the forecast is for a maximum of 25ºC and a minimum of 19ºC. In the Azores, the forecast for Ponta Delgada is a maximum of 21ºC and a minimum of 18ºC.
