Out of a total of 194 airports studied, Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto is the first Portuguese airport to appear in AirHelp's ranking as the best airport in Portugal, occupying 91st place with a score of 7.52.
The results achieved in punctuality (7.10), customer consideration (8.10) and the quality of its catering area and shops (8.10) contributed to this score.
Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport, on the other hand, is considered the worst Portuguese airport and is at the bottom of the world ranking, in 191st place, with a score of 6.75, to which 5.17 for punctuality, 7.30 for customer consideration and 8.00 for the quality of its restaurant and shop area contributed to this result.
Faro Airport is in 137th place, with a score of 7.24. It should be noted that Cristiano Ronaldo Airport, in Madeira, and João Paulo II Airport, in the Azores, have joined this ranking. Madeira's airport infrastructure is in 148th place, with a score of 7.12, while the Azores airport is in 167th place, with a score of 6.94.
