On the 5th, 6th, and 7th of September, the festival “celebrates its 9th edition in the historic centre of Faro and once again crosses the walls of Vila Adentro to the banks of the Ria Formosa, where it has grown in recent editions”, announced the organisers.
There will be nine stages at the venue, “in order to provide a diverse and continuous musical experience for all tastes and audiences, in what is one of the main celebrations of the year of Portuguese music”.
On the first day, September 5th, the organization highlights Ivandro, Nininho Vaz Maia, Tiago Bettencourt, Camané, Lon3r Johny, and The Legendary Tigerman.
On this day Biia, Filipe Karlsson, Leo2745, Ana Lua Caiano, Máquina, Inês Só, Baleia Baleia Baleia, Azart, André Amaro, Tribruto, Amar Guitarra, Alek Rein Imune, Ibsxjaur, Sotto, Spielberg, Miguel Martins “Kaleidoscope” and Cátia Alhandra will also perform.
Carolina Deslandes, Dillaz, Marisa Liz, Capitão Fausto with Orquestra do Algarve, Deejay Telio and Papillon are the highlights of the second day, September 6th.
The lineup for that day is completed by Drenchill, Moullinex with GPU Panic, B Fachada, Milhanas, Glockenwise, Pikika, Acácia Maior, Emmy Curl, Bandua, Moda Vestra, Manga Limão, Artmusa, Romeu Bairros, Luís Domingos Miguel Quinteto, Rick Offen, LAna Gasparotti, The Black Teddys and Micáh.
On the last day of the 9th Festival F, September 7th, the highlight goes to T-Rex, Carminho, Resistência, Van Zee, Karetus, Pongo, and Íris.
The lineup for that day also includes Virgem Suta, Expresso Transatlântico, Putzgrilla, Throes + The Shine, Cachupa Psicadélica, Vaiapraia, Inês Monstro, Filipa Vieira, Norberto Lobo, Na Samsa Rua, Jean Christian et les Rêves Enfouis, Lum, Girls 96, Duo42, Al Guitar Duo, The Dead Men Shoes, Two Step Flow and Danzoffen.
In addition to music, the festival includes performing arts, an author market, exhibitions, and gatherings.
Tickets for Festival F will be on sale from Friday, at “a special price”. On that day, a limited edition of daily tickets for 20 euros and three-day passes for 45 euros go on sale.
According to the organisation, “From July 30th, or from the total sale of this promotional lot, the daily ticket will cost 22 euros and the general pass 54 euros”.
Children up to and including 12 years old do not pay for a ticket.
