The analysis was carried out by DECO PROteste, which analyses the price of the basket, which is made up of 63 essential products, every week.
"But despite the price of this basket of essential goods being on a downward trend, to buy exactly the same products, a year ago, consumers spent 11 euros less (down 5.15 percent)".
The analysis was carried out between 21 and 28 August. According to the consumer protection association, in the week analysed, whole grains were the product that increased the most, by around 21%, which corresponds to 61 cents.
Where do you get your info from? All you have to do is go down to the Continente supermarket beginning and end of month and see the price rise! Ridiculous to suggest that inflation is under control, especially on grocery items.
