According to information released today by the DGS, of the 678 cases of infection reported until Wednesday to the National Epidemiological Surveillance System, the majority (290) are people between 30 and 39 years old and men (673).

On the 16th of July, the vaccination of the first contacts close to cases began and until the 1st of August, 73 people of the 104 contacts considered eligible were vaccinated.

The DGS states that eligible contacts in the different regions continue to be identified and oriented towards vaccination.
