The Azorean executive [PSD/CDS-PP/PPM] justifies the “adjustment of the maximum public sale price” of fuels with “the recent variations in the international market in reference prices for petroleum and energy products”.
The price of gasoline falls for the fourth consecutive month, in the Azores, by a total of 18.6 cents, after a rise of 9.8 cents in September and October.
Diesel has seen a price reduction for the third month, now costing 16.9 cents less than in November, after rising 21.4 cents in three months.
From February 1st, gasoline will cost 1.447 euros per litre in the Azores (2.6 cents less than in January), while diesel is set at 1.399 euros per litre (3.9 cents less).
The maximum prices of petroleum and energy products in the Azores are changed on the 1st of each month and in amounts equivalent to the variation in the value of the monthly Europe Price (PE).
