Lisbon: It will be feeling cooler over the weekend with highs of 26 degrees and clear skies forecast for Saturday and then rising to highs of 31 degrees on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, some light cloud cover is expected with temperatures peaking at 34 degrees and dropping to nightly lows of 19 degrees.

The north: Temperatures are to dip slightly on Saturday with highs of 30 degrees and lows of 16 degrees. On Sunday temperatures are to rise again to highs of 34 degrees. On Monday and Tuesday, some light cloud cover is expected with thermometers rising to highs of 36 degrees and dropping to lows of 17 degrees.

The centre: The high temperatures are to continue over the weekend, peaking at 35 degrees on Saturday with some intermittent cloud cover, and then at 37 degrees on Sunday. It will be feeling hotter still as the week progresses, rising up to highs of 39 degrees on Wednesday with nightly lows of 22 degrees.

The south: Clear skies are expected over the weekend with temperatures hitting highs of 35 degrees on Saturday and 33 degrees on Sunday. From Monday the thermometers are on the rise again up to highs of 37 degrees by Wednesday. Nights will be feeling tropical also, only dropping to lows of 24 degrees at night.

Madeira: Cloud cover is to increase on Saturday when there will be highs of 28 degrees and nightly lows of 24 degrees. From Sunday, it will be looking brighter with average daily highs of 27 degrees and nightly lows of 22 degrees.

The Azores: Rain is to return over the weekend with the heaviest showers on Sunday when temperatures are to peak at 28 degrees with lows of 22 degrees. The showers are to continue on Monday but are to ease off by Tuesday.
