According to a press release, Transavia made 420,000 seats available this summer between France and Portugal and 220,000 seats to/from the Netherlands and Belgium (Brussels).

By route, Porto – Paris Orly (64,399 seats), Lisbon – Paris-Orly (50,719), Faro – Paris-Orly (30,879), Faro – Amsterdam (27,970) and Faro – Rotterdam (16,606) were the top five routes between Portugal and Transavia’s two home markets.
The occupancy rate of flights operated by the low-cost airline Air France/KLM in Portugal was, on average, 90%, which means that it remained “identical to that seen in the same period in 2023”, with emphasis on the routes Lisbon – Rotterdam (97%), Porto – Amsterdam (97%), Lisbon – Eindhoven (95%), Lisbon – Amsterdam (94%) and Faro – Amsterdam (94%).
At the end of the summer, Transavia adds, sales are taking place late but are “on the rise”, with the airline also indicating that it is seeing a “3% increase in occupancy in September, compared to the same period last year”.
“In this regard, we would like to highlight the strong demand for tickets for the new connection between Porto and the magnificent Bordeaux, a service that was launched on 13 December with 2 weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays) and fares starting from 34 euros (one way)”, Transavia also highlights.
